Shabbat Services

Shabbat (Saturday)

10:30am: Meaningful and easy to follow Service

11:15am: Discussion on the Torah portion of the week

12:30pm: Kiddush Lunch

Chabad of Southern Utah attracts community members from diverse backgrounds.

Join us for Shabbat Morning Services. The traditional service is designed to guide you step-by-step and will make you feel comfortable, warm, relaxed, and haimish regardless of previous exposure and background. Our Shul participants are actively involved in the services, which are meaningful and inspirational.

Services are open to all and are user-friendly with Hebrew/English prayers spiced with explanation and song. Participants are not judged by their ability to take part, nor by their religious knowledge.

We have the honor of taking our Community Torah out of the ark and reading from it as has been done for thousands of years. As an introduction to the Torah reading, Rabbi Cohen shares meaningful thoughts and spiritual insights about the Torah reading of the week. This, coupled with modern Jewish melodies and an easy to read prayer book translation will make Shabbat prayer services an enjoyable and meaningful experience for you.

A delicious Kiddush lunch follows the  Shabbat services. The mealtime spent together is a great opportunity to schmooze with old friends and make new ones.
